i think it may have over heated, and now it looks like there is no power going to it at all.
how can i fix it?

James Conley answers:
WE HAD A MICROWAVE THAT WOULD SHUT OFF(CLOCKS AND EVERYTHING) IF WE USED IT MORE THAN 5 MIN. AND ABOUT 30 MIN LATER IT WOULD COME BACK ON. IT WAS A COOLING FAN THAT WAS MOUNTED THE WRONG WAY, IT WAS BLOWING HOT AIR BACK ONTO THE TRANSFORMER INSTEAD OF AWAY FROM IT, I HAD A REPAIR MAN COME AND FIX IT(UNDER WARRANTY), ALL HE DID WAS TAKE THE COVER OFF , UNSCREW THE FAN(TWO SCREWS I THINK), POSITION THE FAN THE RIGHT WAY, TIGHTEN THE SCREWS, PUT COVER BACK ON, AND OURS HASN’T OVERHEATED SINCE. YOU CAN TAKE IT TO AN APPLIANCE REPAIR, SHOULDNT COST TO MUCH TO FIX IF OVERHEATING IS THE PROBLEM,OURS SHUT OFF EVERY TIME WE TRIED TO USE IT MORE THAN 5MIN BEFORE WE GOT IT FIXED

GE compact spacemaker refridgorator, one month old, no frost freezer frost up – what could be the cause?
James Conley answers:
Since it is brand new and under warranty, best advice is to call 1-800-Toll Free Number# and they will walk you through various procedures and based on Serial No# registration, GE database will indicate warranty dates where if repair/service and/or repair parts are necessary, GE manufacturer will also set up appointment with their warranty source at no costs where mobile unit will service and order parts. Etc
We had something similar occur on expensive Combo Microwave/Lower Gas Oven bought brand new off of EBAY though we did arrange for professional appliance repair to install and he detected what was wrong during uncrating etc of package on pallet
Hope the Above Info Helps!
Robert asks…
GE Dryer no Heat all else works DPSB613ED1WW?
The dryer spis but no heat GE Profile DPSB613ED1WW model
James Conley answers:
The heating element has died. Usually costs about as much to replace as to buy another dryer. If you can’t afford a new one, buy from a store that repairs and sells with a warranty. I don’t trust craigslist unless you do your homework. Get the brand and model number first and go to “manage my life” on line. You can read reviews and find out “really” how old an appliance is. Homework can save you money and headaches. They have a chat too if you can’t find what you’re looking for. I was looking for a fridge and was told it was one year old. It was an 03 and the reviews were the worst I’d ever read.
