What is best material to carry LP gas from above-ground tank into house, on to furnace, and up to stove?

Question by Ruby’sMom: What is best material to carry LP gas from above-ground tank into house, on to furnace, and up to stove?
Landlord keeps saying copper is a bad choice. “Repair” person cut line to stove and refused to return to fix. I don’t have any burners to cook on!
Currently the pipe is a mass of connectors screwed on to patch various cuts, joins.
Very Old house, I’m responsible for maintenance.
Thank you for your time to think of and to answer this.

Your landlord obviously doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Copper tubing is actually the preferred method of transport from your tank into and around the house to whatever appliances you have that use it. It can even be safely buried if you put it inside another tube such as plastic conduit.
